Upon reaching Uttarkashi, explore the holy Kashi Vishwanath Temple, an important spiritual site. Next, you enjoy an overnight stay in Uttarkashi. It takes around 4 hours to cover the 100 km distance to Uttarkashi, where upon arrival you will visit the famous Vishwanath Temple.

On the way, be sure to visit the rejuvenating sulfur springs of Gagnani. Upon reaching Gangotri, experience the spiritual grandeur where the mighty Ganges flows from the Gangotri Glacier. According to Hindu belief, the Ganges originates from the hair of Lord Shiva.

Take a holy dip in the river of the Ganges, participate in sacred rituals in honor of the river and then return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (214 / 07 Hours)

After breakfast, your driver will take you on an 8-hour journey of about 220 km to Guptkashi, where you will get to see spectacular views of the Himalayas along the way. While traveling, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mandakini River at Tilwara, which originates from Kedarnath.

You can hire a pony or doli to cover the trekking distance. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, making it an intensely spiritual destination.
